Volunteer Gifts

I do volunteering with Louisiana Volunteers for Family and Community (formally named homemakers) and each year we do an appreciation luncheon in February and this year it was in April so we put an Earth Day twist on the celebration. Each club member that attended received a packet of seeds to plant and with a poem entitled "The Gardens Of Kindness Never Fade". This was put into a clear Cello bag with some paper shredded grass. I used some extra non-CTMH paper, printed the poem on Velum and used pink grow grain ribbon to attach the pieces together. I made 50 so I was glad to use what I had on hand. This is something you can do for school teachers gifts, Sunday school teachers, mail persons, secretary's at doctors offices etc. It's just a little HAPPY for them and it's a great way to introduce your scrapbooking crafty items. We have alot of tools that can be used for all kinds of crafts, and gifts. It may be just what that person needed to lift there spirits.
